Buying a home in the New Normal

What were you doing about a month ago, before social distancing became a must? Life has changed in a matter of weeks, but those who adjust are thriving, not just surviving. Here at Riverside Homebuilders, we have evidence that buying a home in the New Normal isn’t just possible, but…comforting.

Take the 2020 route to a new home

Most new home searches begin online. You can still do that. Shop around to your heart’s content. Envision the possibilities. 

Throughout the DFW metro region, we have new homes now under construction as well as move-in ready homes available right now. Are you thinking about a bigger yard where you and your family can spread out? Take a look at the homes with an acre or more—in our communities of Summerlin (in Nevada, TX), Hawkeye Ridge (Princeton), Canyon Ridge and Crossroads at Rough Creek (both in Godley), Regent Park (Springtown), Rocky Ridge (Weatherford), and our newest phase of new construction homes, Spring Creek Farms, near Springtown. There are still a few homes with 1-acre-plus yards in Singletree Estates in Decatur, but they’re going fast. At Colina Creek Estates, in Farmersville, picture your new home on up to 3 acres! 

When you find a home that interests you, click on “VIRTUAL TOUR” and you can wander through every room without leaving your own home. Move around, zoom in on details, and get a sense of the interior and the flow from room to room. You can check out the view from each window, look inside the bedroom closets, walk up and down the stairs, and get a feeling for working in the kitchen.

You can have a personal, private tour of any home when you’re ready. We’re following strict protocol for sanitizing every home. If you prefer, you can enter the home on your own while the Community Sales Manager waits outside. Or on your own, simply drive by and tour completed homes during the day. If you decide to build a new home, choose the location and the floor plan. We’ll run through all the details in a video conference. Make the changes and choose the design details. Again, you can schedule a private appointment to visit our Design Center and check out your wide array of options.

Incentives through April

Interest rates are at a record low right now. Riverside Homebuilders is making it even more affordable to buy a new home. When you contract for your new home by April 30, 2020, we’ll give you $5,000 in closing cost credits, reducing the amount you need to come up with.

We haven’t overlooked our Realtor partners. They’ll receive a $2,000 bonus on Riverside homes they sell no later than April 30, 2020.

Your new home will also include a REME HALO whole-home air purification system. It’s a standard feature in all of our new homes—not an option—because we’ve all learned how important it is to have superior indoor air quality.
