Leading the leaders: Meet our July Sales Rep and Realtor of the Month

When you have a group of people who blend so well together, it’s hard to pinpoint one or two individuals as exemplary. But we do like to acknowledge Riverside Homebuilders team members who exceed expectations among our already-stellar performers. Leading the leaders, we’d like you to meet our July Sales Rep and Realtor of the Month.

Chad Robinson, Riverside Homebuilders Sales Rep of the Month

If you make the (smart) decision to visit Colina Creek Estates in Farmersville, Walkers Run in Ennis, or Summerlin in Nevada, you’ll meet our July Sales Rep of the Month, Chad Robinson. He joined Riverside Homebuilders early last year, coming from a Dallas builder that specialized in home renovations. Chad made the move to New Home Sales for us because he saw a difference in the way we do business.

“Riverside Homebuilders is one of the best builders in Texas,” Chad says. “Well-designed plans, quality craftsmanship, and customer service on par with any company that elevates it to their first priority.”

His enthusiasm for the company is genuine, making it easier (and more fun!) to guide homebuyers to the right location and select their home. “One of the best parts of my job is when the buyer tells me after their closing that the experience was great. That’s our mission, to deliver a quality-built home and provide superior customer service.”

We caught up with Chad on the road leading into Walkers Run, where he hopped out of his truck to talk to the construction supervisor. He’s not one to sit in the model home. “Driving through the community as it grows and turns into a neighborhood is very rewarding,” he says with a big smile.

Shaya Shivers, July Realtor of the Month

Shaya Shivers has always had a love for homes, so it was an easy transition to become a Realtor.

“I would even wake up early just to watch ‘Hot On! Homes’ to see different homes. Historical homes…obsessed,” she exclaims. “When I had my second child, I realized that trying to be the mom I wanted to be and also being miserable at my job was just too much. So, I took a leap and followed my passion. I honestly have never loved a career as much as I love being a Realtor!” 

Shaya puts her heart and experience into helping homebuyers find exactly what they want. Each one is unique, and she treats them that way.

“I make sure my clients feel like this whole experience is truly about them and what is best for their situation. I never make it about just getting the deal done. To do that, I put them first. I’m always available and listen to what they need. In the end, about 99% of my clients tell me, ‘Thank you for all the hard work, love, and thoughtfulness you put into our home buying/selling experience’—and that’s why I love what I do!”  

Her best advice to homebuyers is to create a list of their top 5 “must-haves”. 

“That way, we make sure we get them the home of their dreams with little to no sacrifices.  Those top 5 must haves are usually pretty consistent with my buyers: beautiful upgrades, open concept, large lots (depending on community), big beautiful kitchen, and great price range. Riverside offers that and more.” 

She first encountered Riverside Homebuilders when the new home search was her own. Shaya browsed new home listings on her system, but wasn’t considering a new construction home.

“As a Realtor, I have been through so many new builds and never saw anything that fit what my family and what I wanted. After coming across Riverside’s Sabine layout, I decided to take a closer look—and fell in love. I then visited the Sendero location and put in an offer that day!”

Shaya has first-hand experience as both a Riverside homeowner and seller, a valuable perspective. Since buying her Sendero home, she has also brought 4 more homebuyers to Riverside Homebuilders’ communities. Each of them felt the same about our homes and decided to buy. 

“Riverside offers what so many buyers want in a home, but can hardly ever find as a new build. The possibility of having a one-story home, over 2000 square feet, a 1-acre lot, and one that doesn’t cost a ridiculous amount is so hard to find. Riverside offers that and beautiful finishes, too!”

Shaya and Riverside Homebuilders Sales Manager Jim Steele made one experience even more special. One of the buyers wanted to propose to his girlfriend on the final walk-through of their home. Shaya and Jim decorated the home with rose petals to set the stage for what became a very happy “Yes!”
