What is the EZ Move Program?
The EZ Move Program is an exclusive partnership with Riverside Homebuilders and Century 21 Mike Bowman, Inc. that allows an existing homeowner to have their current home listed for 0% commission. This means that, instead of the typical 6% commission, the homeowner is only paying 3% to the brokerage that brings them a buyer. Century 21 Mike Bowman waives their listing fee entirely!
Since they are listing for 0%, does this mean the listing is marketed in a diminished or scaled-back manner?
No! The homeowner who lists their home in the EZ Move Program receives the same full-service listing and agent attention as any other listing charged the full 6%. This includes:
- A sign posted in the front yard
- Professional photography
- Drone photography
- Social media advertising on Facebook, Instagram and Youtube
- Professional ad copy
- Syndication to over 200 online sites
- Private landing page
- New listing email to a proprietary mailing list
- Listing posted in Multiple Listing Service (MLS)
- Agent door knocking with a printed flyer
- Metrics evaluation & campaign adjustments
- Open House event
- Agent Feedback Reports from buyer tours
Do all new homebuilders offer Contingency Contracts?
Taking a new home off the market and turning away potential buyers while the Contingency Home is being marketed is a risk to the builder that most companies are not willing to take. This means the Contingency Homeowner (someone who has a home to sell before buying new) must sell their home first, move into other accommodations and only then submit a contract on their new home. More often than not, this results in the home of their choice being gone by the time they are in a position to purchase. The EZ Move Program streamlines this process and allows the Contingency Homeowner the opportunity to secure the home of their choice while offering a generous period of time for the contingency home to be sold.
