From financing to design selections and homesite visits, building a home can be an overwhelming experience. That is why it is important to find a building partner that you can trust to guide you through the process.

At Riverside Homebuilders, our goal is to make the journey to owning your dream home as enjoyable as possible, and we use three decades of experience helping Dallas-Fort Worth families to do it. Learn more about our unique, customer-first approach below.

Thorough planning

The most important part of finding a new home is to make sure the community and floor plan fit your needs. Riverside Homebuilders has new home communities in nearly two dozen cities around the DFW metropolitan area which you can search by city or school district. A variety of floor plans are offered in each location with modern open designs and acreage depending on the community you choose.

Clear communication

Since the market is moving so quickly right now, new homes will be available in the foundation phase. This saves homebuyers a few steps and speeds up the process as we rise to meet the demand. Transparency is key when adjusting the process so we make sure to prioritize the three construction touchpoints with buyers so they know exactly how their home is coming along.

The first is a pre-drywall walk where homeowners can see the active site and start to visualize the space. During this appointment, a construction manager will highlight features like the HVAC system and state-of-the-art circuit breakers that make new homes safer and healthier.

The second is about two weeks before completion and it is a combined “punch out” and orientation appointment. The first part consists of walking through the home with one of our experts and conducting a quality control check, marking any necessary corrections. This is similar to the process you go through with an existing home, but homeowners have more power here because you have a member of the construction staff by your side who will monitor the changes as we approach your closing date. Orientation is an introduction of sorts to show you how to best care for your new home. We will show you the external water shutoff, how to reset the breaker, how to change air filters, how to set up home automation and answer any other questions you may have.

The final walkthrough occurs on the closing day or the day before. At this appointment you tour the home move in-ready so we can hand over the keys.

Lasting commitment

Another big benefit of choosing an experienced builder like Riverside Homebuilders is you have our in-house customer service team to use as a resource for a full year after your home is complete. Upon closing, you will receive a call list and directions on how to report any problems that may arise. Beyond the first year in your new home, our partnership with StrucSure Home Warranty provides peace of mind and helps homeowners rest assured that future inconveniences will be handled swiftly.

When you are ready to start building your next home, call (817) 601-6230, text (254) 735-3033 or contact us online to schedule an appointment. Riverside Homebuilders will make the process as smooth as possible so you can sit back and enjoy the journey.
